Veer is a maker of hybrid stroller wagons that launched its first product in 2017.

Founder Andrew Bowman was inspired to design the Veer Cruiser while at his daughter's soccer game. He noticed other parents struggling to push conventional baby strollers up a gravel covered hill and realized a wagon might be a better solution. But not the traditional Radio Flyer metal wagon, rather a foldable, portable wagon.[1]

His experience with Graco and parent company Rubbermaid Newell helped him launch in 2015 with the company's first wagon, the Cruiser All-Terrain Hybrid, launching in 2017. The stroller wagon line has since expanded to include the Veer Cruiser XL All-Terrain Hybrid and the company has added a line of strollers called the Switchback System.

Flagship Model: Veer Cruiser All-Terrain Hybrid

The Veer Cruiser (32.5 lbs., see price on Amazon) is a two seater wagon with a reversible handle that allows parents to either push it like a typical stroller or pull it up and down hills like a traditional wagon. Made with high quality materials, the Cruiser is equipped with a child tray separating the interior into two spaces as well as padded seat backs with a waist belt and the Veer sides can be folded down into a flat footprint.

Additional features include: two parent cup holders, washable interior/exterior with a garden hose, deep treads on wheels, foot well and two toddler seats.

Accessories (available at an extra charge) are numerous including storage pockets, retractable canopies, a foldable storage basket, infant car seat adapter, parent organizer, custom sidewall kit, visor for canopy, cargo net, travel bag, weather cover, nap system (a bassinet and bug net) that can be used in the Cruiser and a comfort seat for toddlers are available.

The Veer can only accommodate one infant car seat adapter, meaning this stroller wagon can't be used with newborn twins. The lack of canopies as a standard feature is also an issue. The weight of the Veer Cruise empty is pretty hefty at 32.5 lbs., so you may get quite a workout pulling or pushing this stroller wagon on flat surfaces, let alon up hills.

If you have more than two children you need to haul, Veer also makes a Cruiser XL (36 lbs., see price on Albee Baby) with seating for up to four children. To accommodate four children, the XL is wider so two kids can sit side-by-side on either end of the wagon. The XL comes with four seats, two parent cup holders, foot well and snack tray.
